What mechanism does your ottoman base use ?
“Our ottoman bases feature four hinged gas pistons that make it easy to lift the mattress base, even with the mattress in place. The gas struts are designed to push slightly forward as they lift, allowing the headboard to remain attached to the platform whether it is open or closed.”
Can i choose my feet on the bed or divan?

Will your headboards fit my base?
.Buy any headboard with confidence. Our headboards conform to standard UK sizes and fitments, which means our headboards will fit any standard-size UK base even if the base was purchased elsewhere.
What is the maximum mattress weight for Ottoman beds with gas lift storage?

Can I assemble my bed myself?
“Yes, you can assemble your bed. Each of our beds comes with easy-to-follow instructions, and all the necessary tools and components are provided. However, if you need any assistance, our Customer Service team is always happy to help.”
Can i have my headboard wall-mounted?
Yes, if you prefer a wall-mounted headboard, please email our friendly Customer Services team at info@manorcroftbeds.co.uk. All wall-mounted headboards come with the necessary fixings. However, please note that we are unable to hang the headboard for you, as we are uninsured against any unforeseen or accidental damage to your home.”
What is the difference between a slatted base ottoman and a solid base ottoman?
- Slatted Ottoman Base: This option comes flat-packed and takes longer to assemble but provides a sturdy and supportive base for your mattress. It features a series of securely attached wooden slats that create a durable platform.
- Solid Ottoman Base: This base comes pre-assembled in two parts and is ideal for properties with spacious staircases, as its size can make it more challenging to maneuver into tight spaces. It features two compartments for ample storage and is constructed with a solid wooden base for robust and long-lasting support.
Can I choose the colour of my studs?

What is a solid base ?
Why is my ottoman not closing?
“When first using the ottoman base, the pistons can be stiff. We recommend placing your mattress on the ottoman base before use. The added weight of the mattress will help to dampen the stiffness of the struts, allowing for a more controlled operation.”
Do your divan and ottomans come in pieces ?
Yes. Both our divan bases and ottoman beds arrive in 2 pieces. During assembly, our Team will fix both parts into a single, solid unit. 3ft (Single) divans come in a single piece.Â

What types of furniture do you offer?
“We specialize in beds and related bedding products, including mattresses, headboards, ottoman boxes, sofas, and bed frames. Please note, we do not offer other types of furniture.”
How can I order?
Can I amend my order once confirmed?
“Once your order details are confirmed, your order will be placed into production and scheduled for delivery. You can make changes to your order free of charge until it is confirmed and in production. To request a change, please email our Customer Services team as soon as possible at info@manorcroftbeds.co.uk. We are available Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.”
I haven't received my fabric samples, what should I do?
How will i know if you have successfully received my order?
“You will automatically receive an order confirmation via email or text once your payment is processed. If you do not see the confirmation in your inbox, please check your spam folder. Additionally, we will call to confirm your order details within 24 hours. If you have any issues or haven’t received the confirmation, please email us at info@manorcroftbeds.co.uk.”
Do you offer Trade accounts?
“Yes, we do. We enjoy working with interior designers, boutique hotels, and architects to create perfect interiors. How will I Know if my bed will fit in my home?

Are my bank details safe with you?

Can i use a fabric I have sourced else where for my order?
Yes, we can upholster your bed, headboard and blanket box in your own material.
How easy is it to build the bed at home?

Will I receive the same product that is shown in the picture?

- Made-to-Order Beds: Since our beds are custom-made to order, please allow additional time for manufacturing. Typical lead times for production and delivery are 1-10 days.
Do you offer removal of old bed frames and mattresses when delivering a new one?
“Unfortunately, we do not offer a service for removing old bed frames. Customers will need to arrange their own disposal or recycling.”
Can I change the delivery date or time once it has been scheduled?

I am unable not available to receive my order, what should I do?
Can I cancel my order?
“Customers can cancel any order for a full refund as long as it has not yet entered production.
Once an order is confirmed for delivery, production will begin. While you can still cancel the order, a 50% cancellation fee will apply to cover the costs of committed raw materials, administration, and processing time.
Once your order is delivered, we do not accept returns on made-to-order items unless they are faulty or the wrong product was delivered.”
What happens if my items arrive damaged?
“If you believe your ordered items are faulty or incorrect, please email our Customer Services Team at info@manorcroftbeds.co.uk within 7 days of delivery. We may request photos of any damage or imperfections to help us determine the best course of action.”
